David Freedman & Beau Casson - Wrist Spin Bowling

 

David Freedman is a left - arm wrist spin bowler who has played first class cricket for New South Wales for almost ten years. During that time David took 161 first class wickets in 56 first class games. Highlights of David's career include being selected for the Australian A team in 1992/93 and taking 11/93 against the West Indies in 1995/96.

 

For many years David has been the New South Wales U19 coach. He is currently the assistant coach of the New South Wales Pura Cup Team which is one of the best first class teams in the world. David has helped many wrist spinners over the years and is widely regarded as an expert in the field.

 

David can view your video footage and make recommendations that will be used when constructing your lesson.

 

Beau Casson is a left – arm wrist spin bowler who has played 40 first class games for Western Australia and New South Wales and taken 107 first class wickets. Beau is a current member of the New South Wales Cricket Team that recently won the 2007/08 Pura Cup Final.

 

Due to Beau’s strong performances in 2007/08, he has been awarded an Australian Cricket Contract. He has also been named as a member of the Australian Cricket team that will tour the West Indies later in the year.

 

Wrist spinners are indeed fortunate in that they can view themselves bowling next to Beau in a side by side comparison. They will also be able to view videos of Beau's drills and tips which can be used to improve their game.
